OK, a bit of fun.
Only one line per post. Put down what you think is a great line in a song. You can put down why you like it if you want. It might make us explore more music and broaden our musical horizons
I'll start with "I could lose a damn war all by myself, if you were on the other side"
From the Black Stone Cherry song Hell And High Water. I like it because basically it is saying that there is no way he would hurt his lady no matter what the consequence; true undying love.

I am just itching to tell you about them

that was "Big balls "
"Strange how laughter looks like crying with no sound, rain drops taste like tears (without the pain)"
I don't believe in love Queensryche
so many amazing lines, its tough to single out a few. One of my all time favourites is from Rush's Tom Sawyer -
his mind is not for rent, To any god or government
"I'm the one that has to die when it's time for me to die, so let me live my life the way I want to. Sing on brother, play on drummer."
Jimi Hendrix - If 6 was 9
For any day that stings, two better days it brings - nothing is as bad as it seems!
Hands up who knew I would quote this.
How about an 80's classic
"You got your B**** to the wall man!"
The ministry of truth that deals with pretense
The ministry of peace that sits on defense
Clever use of "defence" as a pun on the saying "sits on the fence"
Ozzy: Rock N Roll Rebel
"Woke up this morning with a wine glass in my hand. Whose wine, what wine, where the hell did I dine?!"
Do you feel like I do - Peter Frampton
