Yep, I'm still doing this thing!

I'm rewriting and restructuring a lot of it. Still largely unfinished, but this song works on its own or in a story so I'd thought I'd share it.

It's actually inspired by the character Kang in Jade Empire (Xbox game) who basically is this crazy demented scientist who likes to make things explode and die.

So enjoy!

Chapter 6: He Who Speaks In Paradox

A theoretical man
With theoretical thoughts
Obsessed with the unknown
Consumed by everything that is not

A life spent in a shroud
A mind who dared to dive
Into the dark black seas
Of tranquil obscurity

It is said that he is insane
A futuristic Frankenstein
Its is said that he is a genius
More machine than man

His subtle twitch and way with words
Shifting eyes and anxious hands
His train of thought and disturbing mind
A lack of heart and unending life

He who speaks in paradox...

Some say he is from another time
Some say he's seen the edge of space
Some say he constructs what cannot be conceived
Some say his gift is his curse

I cannot imagine what he truly is
I cannot fathom what he claims to know
I do not understand his words
Though he speaks my language

He who speaks in paradox...

Science and logic can drive someone mad about not knowing something That's what I feel from this part

A life spent in a shroud
A mind who dared to dive
Into the dark black seas
Of tranquil obscurity

Someone who accepts to live in darkness?

It is said that he is insane

That explains it...Lost his emotions, or its loosing them.

His subtle twitch and way with words
Shifting eyes and anxious hands
His train of thought and disturbing mind
A lack of heart and unending life

knowledge and body language, the way robots addopt human patterns. Not sure about how the last verse blends with the rest

A Messiah or Satan's arrival

I cannot imagine what he truly is
I cannot fathom what he claims to know
I do not understand his words

Finally, your own opinion. you started by devolloping a character, gave the readers a view on him, said other people's opinions and than projected your own to the readers, very well done. Quite intrigued with the use of the verse "He who speaks in paradox", meaning to me, he's full of contradictions but, being like that is a paradox to the lyrics itself since I projected my view of him as a machine full of knowledge and logic
