Kris, i was wondering how you have acquired most of the members here. I forgot how i came upon the site, all i remember is having my guitar in my hand watching Gabriels First Yngwie lesson and having my jaw dropped. ohmy.gif

I know a lot of poeple YouTube or search their way here but what have you done in terms of advertisement, and what are you planning on doing in regards to advertisement in the future of GMC?

If this is an inappropriate question i apologize blink.gif

The reason i ask is because i have multiple friends (who know nothing about guitar or music in general) that want me to give them lessons (no time\need theory in my brain first! blink.gif )and i always show them this site and they also drop their jaws when they see the instructors play anything. The addition of the beginner link on the front page and the new beginner\intermediate lessons lately, has really made this much more beginner friendly.

I like bolding and italicizing. Also not sure where to post this topic, lot of new forums!

Good 'ol Google for me!

I also saw Kris's video on UG doing the FAQ video which I thought was hilarious. I had no idea who he was at this point, but later in the week I found GMC through Google and had to watch it again.

I was googling reviews for a few pieces of gear since I'm not too satisfied with anything I've read on Harmony Central (99% of the reviews seem too enthusiastically positive to be objective, maybe it's just me)

Anyway, I clicked a link that brought me to the forum, and when I'd seen what I'd stumbled onto I totally got distracted from what I was there for. I went to the front page, looked at the lick of the day and was like "neat!" (that welcome video still makes me laugh.. "YOU READY?! **SHRED!**") Then I looked around a little more, saw the samples for some of Pavel's rock & rhythm lessons and was like "OMFG". Then I signed up tongue.gif

Hmm.. how did i find GMC?

My guitar spoke to me smile.gif .....really, it did. I'm not crazy blink.gif

Naw, actually I found it by google, as many of you did. AND I was really hesitant to pay real cash for an ONLINE only guitar lesson. I was like, well $30USD down the drain.... until I got to see all the lessons, then I loved it.
This is excellent quality stuff here, and we have some fantastic people in our little society :}, intructors and students alike.

Totally worth the price!
