Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey Folks!!

I am on a REC mission and I have another one now. smile.gif I have been working on this for past 4 months I guess but continued practicing other lessons / MTP ones in between. I just hadn't posted REC as of now so I wanted to get back to this lesson (as its so cool) and post a REC as well. Still not perfect but I think I am getting there. smile.gif

Your take is excelent, just something I hear that may not be true. Some bendings are very very sligthly out of tune, some little extra-bending may be needed.
The picking dinamycs is kinda plain, not every note is equeal, lets take the first phrase the triplet as a pick-up and the target note on the beat, this is the important one, try flat-picking the same the first two notes of the triplet and the last one play it louder and the long note more lauder with a harsh atack.
Your take is so great anyway!

Excellent take. Your timing was a bit loose in this take, but I think it was intentional and well controlled. The only problems you had were the AP picking sequences where the notes were not all equal.

This is an almost perfect playing! Sounds great, but some bends are not quite accurate indeed, mainly in the beginning. The second part is much better, maybe a little practice at the technical part, but these are only minor mistakes. Nice job! smile.gif
