Hi everybody !
It's my first time here in the Practice Room although I should have been here some time ago.
I decided to do some acoustic covers of songs that I like. I want to do them with only the acoustic guitar and voice.
Well for the moment I will post the guitar only version until I like the sound of my voice .
So the first one is Eric Clapton's Layla:
Please tell me what you thing. I recorded it with a cheap microphone (near the guitar) and no effects so you can hear the raw sound
Enjoy !
I love it! You have a good sense of rhythm and I like your strumming and chord changes. It sounds and feels really good.
The only advice I'd give is maybe to try to relax your right hand more.
Great stuff here mate, I'm very looking forward to full version with vocals!
very nice take! way to go dude! keep at it!
you could play it a bit faster,
Like it man, nice sound, even though a microphone
Definitely a favorite of mine! Alex, acoustic orchestrations can be dealt with in a great number of ways, so, my advice would be the following: check out the acoustic versions of famous songs! You will notice a lot of differences and added nuances! It's simply brilliant! I am very curious to hear you sing mate go for it!
Thanks for the feedback everybody
i enjoyed
