He is just an amazing player IMHO. I've "borrowed" so much from him. As he grows and changes he offers up new licks which is awesome. He still gets pigeonholed as a "shreddder" but he's actually an amazingly versatile player. I've always believed that the goal of any player should be to not let technical deficiency get in the way of their self expression. This means being able to play anything, fast, slow, mid tempo, etc. Paul is the shining example of that imho.
