GMC Forum _ Introduce Yourself ! _ Hi Gmc!

Posted by: Nava Jan 17 2011, 09:57 PM

Ok, where to begin? Maybe a little HI wink.gif

As like the post before me (HungryOfHeaven), I played a lot when I was 16-18, different bands and we all wanted to be big rockstars like Def Leppard and Van Halen tongue.gif It was very fun though we didnt hit the stars..
Well, later on I played acoustic for a couple of years but I never really knew how to develope myself and music school was not an option cause of my lazyness wink.gif
About 2 years ago my girlfriend got me to pick up the guitar again and I just felt how great it felt!
And internet and all the info in there were great! But still it was not what I was looking for..
Then I found GMC and its sooo PERFECT!
It took a year for me to sign in but now I'm here, ready to learn the magic!
Its a special teacher here that made me sign in and hes name is Marcus Lavendell. I know hes not active here right know but hes stuff here are amazing and emotional, just what I'm looking for! And all of u teachers are great and I just know I will become a much better guitarist!
So many lessons and I will check out all of u:)
I can play comp pretty good but my heart is longing for the solo part where my soul can express itself..
My influences are heavy metal and my favourite players are Yngwie, John Norum, Eddie Van Halen and so on:)

Well, this is maybe not the best presentation and maybe I can fill in some stuff later on..

I'm Very happy to be in this community and thanks Kris for creating this site:D

Rock on' !!

Btw. I'm from Sweden
