This Line 6 POD Studio GX is what I won for the Spread the Word Competition. smile.gif

Well, been trying it out for some time now. It arrived a few hours ago. I had to adjust the buffering a bit because of my saggy computer. But the latency isn't really noticable at all. The buffering is about medium and it's fine. I'm happy with it. This takes up a lot of RAM. haha

I'm experimenting with it and wondering what I need to do to look for more tones and presets and amps. I'm assuming it's possible. This Sweet child o mine Preset has some stuff that's missing that it needs. I was so amazed by the Surfing with the alien & Smells like teen spirit Presets. They sound so much like 'em!!!

Anyway, I'm having a lot of fun already. Blasting it through my iHome and it sounds great! I couldn't get my VOX amp to cooperate since it has built-in tones and I just wanted to get on with the show. It actually sounds quiet decent through my iHome. It has great quality. smile.gif

Thanks GMC! And thanks to all who can point in the direction to expand this awesome software! wink.gif

Congrats man! I'm happy for you!
The longer you have it, the more it'll please you!
I have the UX1 (the only difference is a mic input) and I'm still very happy with it!
(So maybe it was even better to win third price than second wink.gif )

Have fun with it!!!

Hey - I'm glad you got it man! smile.gif Have lots of fun using it. Let me know if you need any help - I use UX2 and it works awesome (practically same device with different inputs).

Congrats man biggrin.gif I'm sure the delay pedal I won is in the mail box right now, but the mail box is at the top of the hill and a big ice storm just came through here... not about to slip and break my ass walking up that hill... I'll get it tomorrow biggrin.gif

Enjoy man smile.gif POD GX is great, it's amazing the tones that come out from that little box. I used it with gearbox and pod farm for months, and I must say the tones it delivers are as great as the ones coming from a POD X3, if not exactly the same.

Many congrats smile.gif Podfarm is a killer bunch of software. You can create your own patches as well. Also, on the line 6 forum on their site, you can download patches other people have made so your library is endless. Here is a link to the pod farm downloas area.

Enjoy!

Thanks, Toni! I got your metal rhythm preset to work. I just tweaked it a bit - I really like it! (Metal Rhythm by Toni) I will continue to post presets. I refer youtubers to that thread so they can get my presets when I do my lessons on songs. And they can also access all the other presets as well! wink.gif How cool is that!
