Sure man, I`m glad you asked. Kris`s lessons are a great way to start building up your speed. But that is just the beginning. You must understand that going up to 140-150bpm requiers some discilpline and months of training in order to play it properly. Just sit back and relax. If you can play it today, practise every day for some 20-30 minutes some speedpicking lessons and you will be on your way to become a serious player. No one knows how long can it take, maybe 3 months, maybe a year, maybe never. I think that you are serious about guitar and i think you can do it (otherwise you wouldn`t be here right ). Try to practise every day, even for 10minutes. If you can find 10 minutes every day, slowly you will get hooked up, but try to not overdo it. Just think and act patiently and you will in time get your speed and technique. If you have some specific problems with your practising routine or anything, feel free to post and we will help you as much as we can. Cheers
