Hi Pai,

This take is very close man! You are doing a great job with this demanding rhythm metal lesson. There are only some details to adjust in order to make everything sound flawless.

The first thing that you need to try to adjust is the pam muted galloping of the main riff which shows timing issues. At first try to notice if the problem is just the pattern or the combination of the pattern with the power chords. Practice only the galloping for a while over the backing track and if you feel comfortable, isolate 1 segment of galloping + power chord and play it over and over until you get comfortable. If you do this every day for 1 week you'll finally master the riff.

The other part that is not completely perfect is the last high single notes melody, which is really fast and the time value is not clear. Check out how many notes per beat you should play and start at slower tempos to be able to keep the correct pattern.

Other than those things, this is really good man, congrats!

Hi there. This is a very strong take but as Gabriel says, you need to tighten up some of the timing aspects during the rhythm section and also during the lead section.

One other thing is the repeating lick at 1:05 -1:10. Some of the notes don't come through and I think it's because you're index finger isn't quite fretting the A string well enough for the note to come through clearly.

Overall, great job - you just need to polish the details!

Hey there!

First of all - you can be proud of yourself. You develope both - your playing and recording skills. It's a huge step forward when we compare your first take in rec section, and the short time that has passed since then. Well done

Now as for the playing...
Most of the lesson has a descent timing. There are single moments to improve (or just focus a little more while recording). I like the amount of gain and clarity of your tone. There is some harshness in the treble but that's a thing to discuss in deeper discussion.

I was enjoying the take through most of it, without spotting any seriosu issues until the "higher guitar" came in. You need to rechek the intonation because a few notes there were seriously out of pitch.

Overall it deserves a godo word
