This will narrow the option of naming a hundred bands and styles. Pick yours. What singer would fit best in your band or wish band. I love playing instrumental stuff, like Vai or Satch, while I like music with vocals, as well, I think that once I get into a band I will probably be doing mostly if not all instrumentals...
