I seriously want this for PC. Battlefield 2 is still the most fun I've ever had with an online FPS, and this looks to be pretty similar. Damn not having access to a PC for another 6 months.

Graphics are breathtaking. Too bad I don't have a strong PC to run the game! sad.gif

I was a big fan of the Call of Duty series but IMHO this absoulte just kiiled the franchise. The guys over at Activision definately needs to rethink there appproach to the call of duty series.

2 noticable things is the sense of playing in an areana is gone and you have to have battlesense in this game.

I played through the single player and tried out the multi player online and am blown away. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is killer, just all around amazing. It was a rental and I sent it back right away for dread fear of spending all my practice time in death match. Be careful smile.gif

hmm I'm unsure. I've played a fair bit of MW2 and have BC2. I really enjoyed BC2 when I first played but it has a couple of flaws for me...
1. The movement is clunky compared to COD. (I can deal with this)
2. You don't get any specialisations (perks) when you start out, this means that when you run into someone who has played the game more they have a better class set up than you.
3. The guns you get later on are better, it just makes it really hard when you start out.
4. Too few maps there are only 4 for each game type from what I see.
5. There is no where it tells how to fly a chopper...

I stopped playing it as most of my mates are on MW2 although did have a game or 2 yesterday when the COD was down. I really enjoy leading the shots with a sniper and the fact that classes can only really be used within there range whereas in MW2 AR's dominate at all ranges & the spawn systems is broken.

I'm not a COD fan boy and when my mates are not on I'll play BC2, I really hope it takes MW2 down a peg or 2.

1. The movement is clunky compared to COD. (I can deal with this) - Ya think? I thought it was less "Arcade" like than MW2.

2. You don't get any specialisations (perks) when you start out, this means that when you run into someone who has played the game more they have a better class set up than you. -Well... Not sure what to say..More authentic style war based game rahter than an arcade like expiernce with MW2.

3. The guns you get later on are better, it just makes it really hard when you start out. - I like hard. smile.gif

4. Too few maps there are only 4 for each game type from what I see. -Ya but the are HUGE! Not like the Arena feel like MW2.

5. There is no where it tells how to fly a chopper... - HUH? Practice! tongue.gif

o each there own I guess. I dig BC2 way better. Not trying to put down your game choice considering its all subjective but I feel BC2 is just more rewarding the more you play it...

Yeah, movements are clunky in Bad Company and in almost every FPS I know except CoD MW1 and perhaps Soldier of Fortune 1. smile.gif

But well, I can deal with that kind of movement. And in MW2 you cannot even lean anymore so it removed a lot of the movements freedom and speed and a lot of subtlety.

Bad Company 2 is a really fun game and it is very hard as the whole franchise is.

I bought BFBC2 yesterday. It seems to play a lot slower than MW2. I usually play Free-for-all, so I'm used to 7 other people shooting at me with no one else on my team. With the large maps, BFBC felt a lot slower. But I've got $60 invested, so I guess I'll spend some more time on it.

My gamer tag is g pop 70 if you're on the Xbox.

BFBC2 is slower than MW2 that is for sure, but it actually encourages teamwork and strategy which is what I love about the BF games. I used to play CS:S/CoD series competitively but I think my team is going to switch to a l4d and BC focus due to Activision's neglect towards it's PC crowd.

Been playing this alot more recently, I do think it sucks you don't get body armour or magaum ammo till levels 13 & 14. It makes it really hard to win fire fights even if you don't get off the first shot. plus my other massive gripe is you can't go prone!! no drop shots for me!!!

that been said its a great game and if your working in a team of 4 with mates it really comes into its own. but Cod is also good run when playing as a 6man clan. Ive been enjoying it esp as a recon guy...
