GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ I'm Going To Crack!

Guys, i need some inspiration and help from you all....I havn't played or will be able to play guitar properly for the next few weeks.....I NEED YOUR SYMPATHY!
I've just come back from a 3 day camping trip in which i had to walk about 40 km with a massive bag on...and im only 14......got back at 11pm on sunday and having to get up for school at 7:10 the next morning is just ennoying.....not only that but i had to lie and fib my way through about 5 lessons...as i didnt do any homework..having got a new PRS SE singlecut a few days before....tonight I have to learn my entire spanish oral..do a 3 page english essay and finish an ICT past paper!!!.... Next week i have exams....which will set the whole of next year's school career....and to top it all off....on my birthday i have about 3 2 hour exams!!!!! and also....i wont be able to do anything on my birthday...as i will have to be revising!!!!! life sucks.....oh yeah..and i was in my school library today...i thought i would borrow a led zepplein CD....and also a guitar book....the lady at the till/chekout started moaning how she wish she had played guitar....and i quoted back at her, Kris' talks on dedication; not natural talent.....but the ignorant lady just shot back at me with " no im sure u and others must have natural talent"...

haha, i dont belive in natural talent. Anyone can play well with hard work and dedication!!

All the exams and stuff will be over before you know it, and afterwards you can forget about all that for a while and spend some quality time with your guitar.

And, as Kris says, don't listen to all that natural talent stuff people might tell you. People just use it as an excuse for why they didn't work hard when they had the chance.
