How about a funk lesson, ace frehley, george lynch or slash? A lesson inspired from YES, Asia or Genesis would be cool too.

I would like a lesson in the style of Dan Donegan from Disturbed. He has some great riffs and solos, but I'd liek to have a riff oriented lesson on him.

Hey we got some great lessons on Petrucci, and Malmsteen. Two very well-known guitarists, but my question here is why dont we have a steve vai lesson, or a Rusty Cooley lesson???? I know everybody really likes these guys. Have we just neglected them?? And the other many great guitarists that we could learn so much from. SRV(Not a big fan or nothing, but i bet i could learn a lot from him), Hendrix(Again not another big fan, but I would defnitly learn something from it), Slash (I know kris has a lesson on how to play like him, but we still need a in the style of lesson on him), Jason Becker, and Andy Timmons. Those are just to name a few guitarists, but what about amazing bands?? Like Pearl Jam, Metallica (not a big fan, but still great band), Symphony X, Bush (sorry thats a personal one tongue.gif), and the many others that i obvisouly cannot think of right now because im tired!!

Why dont we have lessons on those guitarists because i know everbody likes them in one way or another, or how about those bands???

Edit: Its just a question!!

And also add to the list of guitarists. Shawn Lane!!

I'll second the Mustaine idea. Also, perhaps an Alexi Laiho lesson? Dimebag even?

"Fact is, nothing in the world bores me more than gear...If I played thru your rig, I would still sound like me. Van Halen would sound like Van Halen. Brian May...etc. Very early in my career I decided to focus on creating music and not being a guitar tech. Being a good guitar tech is a very different and extremely difficult job, so why not leave it to a pro?"

3.An in depth dimebag lesson
4. Paul Gilbert Pentantonic runs/ some 'intense crap your pants " string skipping licks.

I would like a "Brian May" in style of lesson.
He uses several techniques which I would love to learn.
He also has a special set-up wich I want to create.

So my request would be a Brian May kanda lesson smile.gif

Regards

blink.gif We really need some tuition in the Kim Thayil (Soundgarden) school of guitaring. His playing in 'Like Suicide' off the Superunknown album and particularly the solo is one of my favourite guitar pieces ever, it's so emotive, very angry with fab wah wah. He plays using unusual modes with an Eastern influence and a lot of open c tuning I think. It would be a great change from the normal western bluesy or neo-classical lines.
Come on guitarmasterclass how about some Kim Thayil?????
