Yeah Toni. Thanx

It is in the beginning it felt a little "strange" but I am getting used to the neck.

It is great. Also the sound of the pick ups are great. The pick ups are without humming.

this is a fantastic guitar biggrin.gif

Hi Zakk

The body is made of alder.

There is an area cut out from the neck pocket down to the bridge that wasereplaced with a block of mahogany.
The neck mounts to this, the pickups mount into it and the bridge mounts into it as well.

The tone block helps add sustain and give the guitar a richer, more defined tone.

On top of all that they placed a beautiful book matched, highly figured maple top.

Hope this clear it for you

this is really nice, this is the style of guitar I'd probably buy

Posted by: Gitarrero Feb 18 2010, 03:25 PM

What a nice guitar! I'm planning on buying a music man guitar myself, though it would be the Petrucci edition.

Posted by: sted Feb 19 2010, 03:34 PM

I know a guy who plays one of these, tone is to die for, very underrated guitar next to some of the more well known models but Luke knows his stuff!

Gratz!

The Petrucci is also a very very good axe. The are becoming very popular.

I wa planning to buy a JP BFR but that was sold already so I bought this one which I didn't regret.

My next will be a JP because ther are so good.

Thx

I agree on you for the tones: playing without stomp boxes these pickups give a great clear sound someting between a fender start and a Gibson. I love it very much to play without effects.

Also the neck is great. I have a Gibson LP which was my dream guitar for quit a while but this Ernie Ball Music Man Luke plays extremely well better than my LP.

So I am very very pleased with this axe.
