> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Great!

I can see a definite improvement here. You convey an overall impression of being much more focused here.

Although not as many, there are still problem areas I think you should have dealt with before submitting your take. Here is a way to look at it:

* If there is a random issue that does not happen very often (like the bend Gab commented on in the beginning) - then record a new take

* If there is a consistent issue (like the faster parts) - you need to practice more and at a slower tempo

* If different random problem areas always seem to appear when recording: you have learned the whole piece in a "rushed" way. If so, you need to adopt a higher standard quality check at every instance of your practicing - this starts in the very beginning when you approach a lesson for the first time. Make sure that you are always disciplined in order not to move on to a higher tempo before you master the section you are working on.

Keep up the hard work, you get a 7 from me!

Well well...there is a visible improvement over your previous take.

Open string appeared at the spots it was supposed to be. You confidency of playing has boosted a lot.

Intro part still differs from Gabriels and it still lacks the breaks I mentioned.

As an opposite now your vibrato sounds shy - you put it from one edge to the opposite one. Now try to find a compromise.

0:29 in the final tapped note there should be some vibrato as well smile.gif
