Hey everyone, looking for advice, criticism etc on my home recording, 207bpm was probably a bit ambitious but I had a go anyway smile.gif tell me if you like it or if you think it's crap, I'm open to any advise smile.gif

Well it's obviously NOT crap, Patrik.. in fact it's quite the opposite !

I hear some lovely shuffling Iced Earth sections mashing it up with Testament.. it all sounds great - no criticisms here. You might want to go over it again and tighten up some rhythm tracks here and there but I like the arrangement and everything cool.gif

Thanks Ben, yes I will do another take at a slower tempo change, maybe 196bpm, just to make the rhythm tighter and the solo. I appreciate your feedback.

I love the intro part! biggrin.gif Great atmosphere! The rest sounds very good as well, even though it's not my type of metal tongue.gif

But anyway, Ben's words about the timing should help get this whole track at 100 % awesomeness wink.gif

Damn this is really good. I agree with the Iced Earth meets Testament riffing vibe. You should definitely keep at this one!

Indeed and also large open riffing - I love the hugeness it provided on our recordings for the Days of Confusion - 'Seeds' EP!

Dude this sounds KILLER! I can't believe you are almost bagging on it? Walk us through your production process a bit. Software/hardware/recording?

Playing is really good and tight, guitar tone is good too and the Bass sounds good which is really rare it seems when guitar players are recording. Put a vocal track on it and this is ready to be released.

Todd
