Custom Js, early Christmas Gift!!

As many might have known, I was playing my first guitar (JEM Jr) but then due to its build in carelessness (been 7 years without maintenance), I was popular for intonation and tuning issues on my REC takes.. haha. But now, I can't wait to try this thing out. This was sent in to me by Monte Stevens (member on GMC as well) as a gift. Who could be so generous? Thanks Monte. I just had to pay the customization setup (pickups) and shipping costs all the way from US to Nepal. It took 3 weeks but was worth the wait! Here are the specs: Moses Carbon Fiber neck - 24 frets, Ibanez style headstock LSR Nut in chrome Steinberger gear-less tuners Dimarzio Hambuckers (Air Nortion and Steve's Special) ZR Bridge System Q-Parts knobs Custom shop JS style body - swamp ash with black metalic finish My only choice was the pickups.. hehe. I wanted to experiment with new pickups and creme/black combination. I still need to learn how to restring the guitar and probably get a hang of new strings/neck and action. I only had few minutes to play as it was late night yesterday and interestingly today, theres a blackout.. What a coincidence! Hope the electricity will come up soon and I can practicing. Within those few minutes of playing, I found the tone was much richer, had some meat on it, clarity, sustain, warmth. Oh boy, I am loving it. And overall It looks damn sexy!
