80 's Rock Solo, my take Jonathan Burgos Lesson |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Sounds very good man! Again very nicely played take with some great definition of the notes.
Like in the previous post, the thing that is the problem is the timing, bending and vibrato. Try to work more on these things, just to polish them up, they are a bit rough on the edges. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

I love the attitude you have on this. You look very confident and secure, and that reflects in the music,
I think you should exaggerate your bends more to experiment. And maybe the tone is a bit too sharp, more mids would make it better for this type of stuff, But the notes are spot on! -------------------- Visit my:

I noticed that the fatest parts are sometimes out of time.
Just slow it down until you get them perfectly in time & it would be a perfect take. Great job! |

Hi again man! This take is good and the comments are similar to the ones taht I did in your Solo in D lesson. There is a problem with the timing (could it be a problem with the latency of your computer that is confusing you?). that should be fixed as a priority in your playing. The faster alternate picking licks need also some work... I think that some repetitive AP exercises could help a lot. However the take is still good.
Keep on working hard! Cheers. -------------------- My lessons
