Hey guys!

I thought it would be fun if everyone would share a band from their country that is not well known, but deserves to be.

I'd like to share "Eatliz".
They're labeled as "Alternative and Progressive Rock" but I feel like they're so all over the place (in a good way) that they have
something of their own. I saw them a couple of times. Also when I went to see Porcupine Tree they opened for them smile.gif

And an awesome stop motion music video they made!

Unfortunately the singer and guitarist left the band two years ago.

Thank You Scientist - An absolutely insane Prog Rock band from New Jersey. Never heard anything like it! biggrin.gif

Breed - An incredible Groove Metal band from Norway. Sadly they just released 2 albums before they called it quits. There's not much of them on Youtube, but I urge you all to check out more of their stuff on Spotify/Wimp as each song delivers equal amounts of awesomeness! The guitarist is currently doing his thing in Chrome Division, so you should check out their new stuff. The guy is like a Norwegian version of Dimebag as he just spews out some of the best solos I've ever heard!

Johannes Zetterberg - Finally some Swedish electric jazz fusion for y'all! This guy should seriously get more acclaim. Always loved this piece:

Then there's stuff like Haken, Merrow and Exivious which are somewhat known in the prog community, but should be way bigger in my opinion! smile.gif

Nekrogoblikon. They've been gaining popularity lately, but not enough, I think. They aren't for everyone, as they're metal, but I love them. This is probably their most popular song, due to the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsMKOx6fumc

King's X is always the first band that comes to my mind when this topic comes up.

I always felt like Psychotic Waltz was worth more recognition than they have.

Yea it was! Good tune to. Liked the melodies and drums. Laughed at the end of the well done video.
