Hey guys,

I've been using windows movie maker to record webcam videos so i can see myself play (not out of self charism, but to see where my fingers are going wrong) and it can only record 1 audio track at a time.

So i was wondering if anyone knew of any programs that records webcam video, plus a multitrack audio recording function too? so i can record from my Pod and a Backing track simultaneously without loosing sound quality by mixing them down into 1 channel. Thanks.

Hi guys, i've been playing guitar for 14 months now, and play for about 1-2 hours per day, just to get a perspective on things, for someone who's been playing as long and often as me, what kind of stuff should I be able to play? like any ideas of songs or techniques etc. I mainly listen to metal (trivium, metallica, megadeth etc)

you have my thanks.

hey all, after having played for a while, i decided i wanted to change from 10-46 to 11-52 strings, but the difference in tension is quite alot so that I've noticed when i tune 11-52's into standard...and looking down the neck i see it seems to be bowing slightly....so i might need to do some truss rod adjustments...

my question is, how do I know when to stop tightening the truss rod? because ive done about 1/2 turn already and it didnt make too much of a difference but im uite hessitant to continue because i really dont want to break my guitar tongue.gif

and also. will it do any sort of harm to my guitar if I just leave the neck bowed instead of straight?

any help would be apprieciated.

Hey Muris,

I've heard loads of these in songs where a guitarist would play a note, then without touching the strings (i cant see it anyway) that note gratually turns into a harmonic...is it a special technique or is it just amp feedback?

thanks in advance
