All Ghillied Up
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Conservator of shadows
Sentinel of the night
All ghillied up
And ready to fight

I am a lone wolf
Amongst my little sheep
You are mine to end
And your souls are mine to reap

Just a mile or so
I can feel you near
My target is picked
And I can sense your fear

In the canopy tops
I observe your life
But still I wait
3 Days, the time is right

Rifle in hand
And all ghillied up
When the sun goes down
All shall be done

The night falls fast
And he is not your friend
With a pull of the trigger
A bullet strikes the head

SOLO
BASS SOLO
SOLO 2
BASS SOLO 2
BASS/ GUITAR HARMONY

I tread quickly
Along these busy streets
Beneath this veil
Hides a face you’ll never see

Kazakhstan to Tokyo
I’m never far behind
You can run and flee
But never bide your time

Through your house
I slowly make my way
The city lights shine in
And so ends the day

When you least expect it
Is when I always come
When you never see it
Is when I draw your blood

You sleep in terror
You live in fear
My knife comes closer
And catches your tear

And the steel runs across
Deep into the flesh
Your body falls limp
And I’m coming for the rest

Ok, first off, It is not about Call Of Duty 4, The lyric though, "All Ghilled Up", popped into my head while i was writing it, and that does come from Call Of Duty 4. That being said...

Basically, This is song is about a hitman who methodically takes out his targets. The first 6 verses our hitman is in the jungle, and he waits for 3 days for the right time to strike. 3 days comes up and when night falls, he raises his rifle, and takes the shot. And of course, since our hitman is pwnage, its a headshot smile.gif

After the guitar and bass trade-offs, Our hitman is in a city, hunting his newest target. After he tracks his target down, he makes his way into his house, just as night falls....The target is already afraid, he knows what is coming, And this time our hitman goes close range with some good ol' fashioned knifes.

Yeah, when i was messing around on my guitar for riff ideas and stuff, after i did a quick solo, I heard Billy Sheehan in my head doing some cool bass work, and then it took off from there, ending with a cool harmony smile.gif
