That's a nice looking guitar/picture. I can't believe more people don't have pictures. I am just about done redoing my favorite, I got a nice spot for a photo all picked out, I'll take some this weekend.

My one and only. Custom refinish in Quasar blue (by me) fitted with a DiMarzio Evo7 in the bridge and still nothing for the middle, will just fill it in most likely.

I bought it used last year. As near as I can tell it is a 2009. It looked like it had never been out of the case, no fret wear and the paper is still on the pick guard.
I really like the sound and it plays really nice. It is a good compromise between the full-size hollow bodies (like the ES335) and the solid body guitar.
Now if I could only play it as well as it deserves.
For those commenting on the Sunn amplifier. I brought it back from the dead. When I dragged it out of the basement it had been in for 30 years, it must of had a quarter-inch of dirt stuck to it. It had a bad power transformer but after I changed that out and replaced a few tubes it worked good. Then all it needed was a full disassembly, a few days of scrubbing and new grill cloth from the origional manufacturer (not that hard to find thanks to Google).

That's fine collection there! What pickups do you have in each if I may ask? Stock or custom?

I only have 3 more guitars, Washburn MG-34 (needs new parts its like 15+ years old or so) , a cheap Washburn acoustic, and my Ibanez S770.
Since I bought the Kemper I haven't touched my half stack. So I took a bold move of owning the unit for a month. I did the pros and cons, figured I don't do anything but play for myself so do I really need a 150w amp that I can't turn up often? So being a hobbyist I just got rid of it. Was planning on getting a pair of PA monitors such as QSC or Altos to play in the room still have power to be loud but can also be quite and still get a good hi-fi tone. But while I was there trading stuff in I seen the EBMM, which I thought to myself that was the managers guitar (I played it when he first bought it). Was like if it is I think I may take that home, sure enough it's now in my room.
So currently I'm rocking out that guitar with a pair of BeyerDynamic headphones and it does everything I need. Loving the choice I made!

Well played!
The kemper is just a Miracle of technology. For home recording and for recording in general, it's just great. Like stuffing a truck full of amps in to a box you can carry with you. A good pair of headphones, or mixing monitors and it really sounds like a massive rig is micd up perfectly in an iso booth/room somewhere. Really, hundreds of iso booths, each with a different amp, and the dial on the kemper just switches between which amp your hearing.
Some really cool guitar collections so far!
Here is my FRETLIGHT guitar. It's the one with red LED lights on the fret board that links up with software to display patterns/scales on the neck. More of a teaching/learning tool but still a spiff looking axe.
This one was a prototype of the first "Pro Series". They have since switched up to a new design but I still like this one a bit better.

This is a shot of my Jackson Kelly. I sold it and now wish I hadn't.
My old bassist had a Jackson Kelly bass ! Now that thing looked the part
Same sort of colour as that one too !
It was really neck heavy so if he let go of the neck it would plummet down to the floor. If he were standing close enough to the drum kit there were so many times where he let go of it and it just crashed down onto the cymbals !

Bingo! That's what I noticed right away. Great looks, but way out of balance. I don't know how folks stand to play these on stage, but Marty friedman seems fine with it. Every time you cut loose of it, it the neck drops like stone. It's so great looking you almost want to frame it though ;0)

I didn't know the 6 string version had the same neck heaviness
I personally can't see how people overcome these tendencies in these guitars.. it really compromises my grip and hand position. But all the more respect to them !
