Hmmm I Want A New Guitar ......

I was looking at anything from Dean Dimebag Razor Yellow ( Havnt played it but it got decent reviews and looks sweet ) and some various Fender strats. Yet I have always wanted a Schecter but have never known whats good and whats not ???? I want to try to stay away from the floyd rose because I have nightmares about breaking a string on one of those puppies. At the moment though im leaning towards a 500-750 $ strat. Any recomendations ? Kinda want some kool pickups. Any thoughts of any guitars and ideas would be appreciated. Im just trying to get some brainstorming going thanks- John My bet is your Jackson has a fast neck... but before you go on. Perhaps you should decide on the sound you want from a guitar. Humbuckers or Singelcoils.. i.e. fat or twang. HSH, HH, HSS, SSS pu's (S=Singlecoil, H=Humbucker). i like my guitars to be HH and that's a good start because it narrows it down a bit. Im just trying to get some brainstorming going thanks- John I have a Schecter Classic and I love it, although I am really just learning but to me it sounds great. i have also read quite a bit of positive about the Schecter Hellraiser. My view- If it sounds good and is fun to play at a reasonable price- BUY IT Uncreator- I was checking out the ibanez rg series on musicans friend. I could be mistaken but I believe kris has one but i couldnt find the exact model on there. Ibanez does make fine guitars though. MetalMan- I only look at musicans friend for guitars. PERIOD. And the good thing is we have a store here in johnson city called Guitar Center thats opening today and they own musicans friend Rock- Yeah ive always wanted a shecter- its hard to find alot without floyd rose though and I dont wanna deal with that.
