I like your list the best. Eating cheese with beer? That's funny, because I hardly ordered wine at all when I was there. That 1664 beer wasn't to bad either. Of course there was the sticker shock. Nice photo of the Champ Elysees, and Arc de Triomphe. I was in Paris last year, and it was amazing.

I am a big fan of Luxembourg, been there a couple of times, so that takes up two places on my list:

Then I'll put in a place I used to go camping with my family when I was a kid. I miss those days!

Nothing too spectacular, but peaceful places, none the less.

See mate, this is one thing that I didn't know how to state smile.gif There is literally a great number of places in Romania that are outworldly beautiful and they are here, a few hundred kilometers away at most. So yeah, it's compulsory to explore your native land aside from all the other wonderful places in the world.

We (my wife and I) left junior with gramma and granpa (in Italy) and went to Paris for 4 days. Rented the Velib bikes and rode down the Champs Elysee to the Arc. Beer and snacks as a reward. It was really hot (end of July). Paris is unequaled.
*I was near Lyon for a week last summer - incredible as well!

Iguazu Falls in Argentina could be the Garden of Eden if there ever was such a place.Attached Image

The world can be a big and beautiful place.
But like most folks I also dig my own tiny slice of it ...

Next year, I have Scotland, Wales and Ireland on my list smile.gif I would love to make a longer trip and spend 2-3 weeks visiting these countries. I will have to get a driver's license though till then and rent a car, as it's by far, the best way to explore smile.gif

You've all been to so many amazing places! I envy you all! Better start saving some money to go somewhere! smile.gif

I have been thinking about doing a bicycle ride to Berlin from Copenhagen. It's about 600 km I think. I might do it this summer.
