I've got some old recordings done long before any of today's digital equipment became affordable. I would like to remix some of my old stuff and "correct" a few notes here and there. The problem has always been there about not being able to fix some mistakes within chords, multiple notes, etc. until now. smile.gif This blows my mind and proves that almost anything is possible with the right tools. I've got the plug in and the upgrade seems to be reasonably priced considering what you get. I'm happy!

this type of stuff sucks out your soul, and you won't even realize it has happened to you.

hard to really bring out the artist within you, after your soul has been sucked out.

I understand that. A person who is really good, but has an occasional screw up, sure. But in general, I think stuff like this is used not like that, but to give the illusion that one is better than one really is. In general honesty is the best policy.

But as you say, if a person really is good, than this is acceptable for small items. However, that is not how it will be used, bank on it. It will be used to create performers who sound great in studio, and like crap live. And then the trick will be to move the illusion to the stage, by some means, such as distraction.

I can agree with that, tools like this should be looked at as alcohol, used only in moderation. That's the only real down side to these tools, guitarists like Eric Johnson get undermined by "fake" players such as those of Dragonforce.
