Also, speaking of inviting people over here, every Friday I go to a drop-in center for young people with mental health related issues, and we play a bit of music. One girl who's kind of new to music asked me about my home studio as we got talking about it. She said she would like to come by and play some music, write a song etc. at some point. Could be guinea pig #1 in my new setup here. I had a friend over in the summer, but I was not even close to being set up at that time.

Got a new carpet that's bigger - means my chair does not roll onto the wood floor and make marks smile.gif

I'm not playing much guitar and I haven't for some months due to different things, but at least drilling holes in walls, hanging things, hammering nails into the wall or moving furniture to get the rug placed right releases some tension laugh.gif Still a few things to do, I suppose.

I had a 26" TV in the bedroom and a 37" TV as a computer monitor before, but I swapped those around yesterday, as I was starting to tire a bit of the really big screen (though it was kind of nice in some ways) at my desk. It generated a lot of heat, and it was just kind of awkward, as well as taking up a lot of space. I believe there's a picture earlier in this thread, though not straight on as this picture of my "new" monitor:

Also, I know it looks like the B&O monitors are straight up against the wall, but there are about 10 inches behind them to the wall.

Looks spiff! The smaller one is a better fit for the desk. My new desk at my new place is much smaller so I've gone to a smaller set as well. No longer have a 50 inch screen on my desk smile.gif The smaller one is doing just fine though and the bigger one is now used or gaming.
