Guys, I just switched to PaintShop Pro from Corel - I find it about 1,000,000% easier to work with. I'm sure that Photoshop is more powerful if you are a professional but I have always struggled with it.
I took the standard scale chart and reworked it in PSP if anyone is interested (its also a lot cheaper than photoshop).
I renamed it as a jpg so the board would allow me to upload it - just remove the .jpg extension and it should work fine.
Here it is!
oops - no it isn't - "The requested file upload failed because suitable permissions have not been enabled on the 'uploads' directory. Please contact the board administrator and inform them of this error."
Henrick?
If anyone wants it send me an email to:

Andrew
What is the extension and mime type for this file?
Ok - hopefully it works now...
ya my brother has a press and he use the corel he said its better than photoshop
Haven't tried Corel but my brother is graphical designer so he uses both,
claims that each has its advantages...and oposite
But since I'm real rookie in graphic field and had hard times with PS
I' ll stick to it ,these tabs I make are real pieces of Art
No problems with PS here, I know it inside and out..
PS, I do several templates, one separately with the major scale for example and then when I do it in another key, I just slide every dot to the fret I need
Spot on Ivan, can you select all dots by some shortcut or
by ctrl+shift and then one by one, like I do?
As they are layers like everything else
I persume you have to merge them all as one single layer to do that?
Well merging can be done, but usually the first few dots (the ones that are on the open string notes) must be rearranged, so I try not to merge them. Instead you can click on the first dot on the layers list and then go to the last, press shift+click and it should select the entire range of dots, saving the trouble of ctrl+click many times.
To be easier, I've rearranged the yellow dots so they are building up nicely on the fretboard, this way I can find the one I need and shut it off if I don't need it for a particular sheet. It needed some work but it saves me a lot of time after that.
I'll post the template with finished major scale if you're interested, then you can modify it yourself easily..
Thanks Ivan
Yeah,I do it on similar way, moving all dots up or down the fretboard for different key,
it's just that targeting all dots together sometimes gets me but no big deal tho
