No one is exactly sure about the details but word is this is sort of like the Japan version of their well known LA custom shop which is located in USA.

The LA custom shop is known to build guitars mainly for artists and prototype ideas for production models (first prestiges were from there). Very long time ago they built for customers too, who knows maybe this new branch may bring that opportunity again someday.

I was lucky enough to visit the LA custom shop once. It's quite a facility. It was cool to see one of Steve Vai's guitars on one bench, and one of Andy Timmons' guitars on another.

Nice! Complete with Bareknuckle pickups. Japanese axe, british pups, nice combo! Hope some of these make it across the pond! There is a similar guitar that is the same model that Kris has but with a white antiqued top. $1400 guitar of course, even $1200 used. Still want one smile.gif
