Hey Muris, so Iv been trying to play your Paul Gilbert lesson. My only problem with the lesson is the harmonics. For some reason I kinda can do them, but they sound NOTHING like the way you do them (and other guitarist for that matter). Its hard to explain, but my pinch harmonics just do not sound as powerfull as other peoples. Here is a video of me trying to do the pinch harmonic.

Im using plenty of distortion and the bridge pickup.

Main problem here IS lacking of distortion, trust me smile.gif
Plus you have single coil in bridge which makes it even harder.
Are you using some pedal, amp or?

Im actually use the Digitech RP80 which I guess is technically a pedal?

Actually, I have a fat strat, there is a humbucker in the bridge position.

Really? Im not using enough distortion? How much distortion did you use for the Paul Gilbert lesson? I'm guessing you put a compressor on it too, cause thats what I did. And you used the bridge position pickup correct?

Ah,didn't notice humbucker,my fault then.
You see,it's hard to say how much distortion did I use
cause we're using 2 different units, parameters just aren't the same.
So try to add more dist, more treble, compressor isn't of great matter here tho
and let us know if result is better. smile.gif
