When you say you "downloaded it online" do you mean you got it from the Apple Store? If so, your in luck
You can download it again since you've paid for it as far as I'm aware using the APP STORE.
Now if you got it, ahem, "differently" your in another place altogether. Can't help you on that.
You didn't mention which version, I"m guessing LOGIC 9? The really great news is that LOGIC 9 is only $199 from the Apple Store with all the bonus content for free. That's a STAGGERING value. If you have not put money down it's worth it, if you have then contact apple support and they can get you sorted with another legit copy.
