Slash signature Les Paul "Gold Top" or BC Rich Handcrafted Mockingbird SL, and the Marshall Slash JCM 2555SL, sounds killer! He's just saying that will only get you 20% of the way, lol. (if your looking at the glass - half full) but yeah it's true... feeling, techniques, rhythm and timing all come down to the player and are totally unique! ps. It's definitely true... it's like you can dress in different clothes that give a certain flavour but the most important factor is you. The body doesn't change.
