Hm, I think this means that by constantly applying pressure , hand will get tired very soon, and mistakes follow. This is very true. Hand must be relaxed and applying only the amount of pressure needed for proper playing.

I thought it was about storing the guitar..How and where do you guys store your guitars when your not playing them ? I have a wall mount holder , like one found in stores and that's where my guitars rest when not used...

Sure, keep away the neck from pressure! I keep my guitar in a hard case most of the time, now I use a gig bag, it's softer but preserve my strings a lot better!

I was refering to not putting pressure by leaning it improperly and making sure it is stored correctly but I guess Ivan's take on it also makes sense, too much hand pressure can cause cramping
