I have a suggestion for another series that should be there: "Canon in D" =)

But where are Master Jedi Kris' GMC Seriess such as his 101 Pentatonics, Tapping, etc. I still think these are some of the best - Maybe they can be put in the subfolders with the other similar lessons or something, but I don't think they should be left out. What about a separate Box titled "Kris 101"

Having a canon package on the series page is a cool idea - I will ask Maria politely! smile.gif

Since we have got quite some requests for "missing series" which you think should have been shown on the new series page - I want to clarify again that this new page is not only for gathering what we have got so far, but more importantly to provide a place for upcoming series - which will follow a much more pedagogical structure than what we have got so far.

Two examples of that are Andrew's "First steps" and Jerry's "Jazz notes".

Many of the related lessons we have got are longer lessons split into multiple lessons - or just lessons that were gathered under the same name. There is nothing wrong with those lessons - but they do not match our vision of where we want to take the new series page.

All in all - if you give the new series page some more time, I hope you will agree that it will only raise the GMC standards! smile.gif

Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.

I love the idea about lesson packages!
Its a great way to present important topics in one place. Music is such a wide concept so this will definitely help and make things organized for both beginners and serious players. I especially like the idea of the series being updated so that there is not only specific number of lessons for each category.

Good job Kris and Maria !
