Hey there,
I want to play a song in GP, but there´s no sound. Does anybody know what happened and how to fix it?

Cheers,
Tolek

check you midi volume settings in control panel. Sometimes for whatever reason they get muted.

start>control panel>sounds and devices>audio tab>midi playback volume.

Perhaps RSE engine is off
or you need to configure audio setup in preferences,
look for output section and select primary sound output.

Under your Sound Card settings, try switching it from (line 6 UX1) to Primary sound driver and see if that helps.

Try as Skennington said or choose Microsoft GS synth as first device in the list..Toneport doesn't have midi banks so that's why it can't output through it..

Glad you got it working!! smile.gif We all have troubles like this , yesterday I was all over the place because my 5.1 system was not outputting sound on the left side, turned out it was simple PAN option in the volume control that mixed it all up.. smile.gif

Guitar Pro uses to have a lot of bugs, especially concerning that.
On the PC at home, the guitars sometimes become 10x as loud as everything else, while on the Mac, the drums either go superloud or all the audio settings reset and the program crashes blink.gif.
