I had a play with this last night - lots of fun! Problem with this is that its unbearably epi, and each solo will take you to the heights of emotion, then it drops you down to mothing and starts again .... I predict that the final mix will be an emotional rollercoaster!

Nice takes guys smile.gif

i actually layed this backing down for my follow up improv guide, I ended up pushing it all to one side and just playing over the backing for a couple of hours instead laugh.gif (just one of them flukey things that happens now n then) so I thought it might be fun to use as a collab too, I think I may have to expand on this one later on as I quite like it, it needs a little tidying up but glad ya like it smile.gif

Cool take andrew!

New take from me, since I was not happy with last one wink.gif. Another improv of course, felt this one was a bit more structured.

Attached File  take3BT.mp3 ( 861.22K ) Number of downloads: 151

Attached File  take3noBT.mp3 ( 853.88K ) Number of downloads: 127

But Smells you can pick which one you prefer or better fits the solo.

That was really nice. Enjoyed it. Very melodic. You took some time to think about what you’re playing. The way the whole solo starts and resolves itself at the end left me satisfied. Great tone as well.

Thanks

--------------------
"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Here's my take, any honest feedback would be great since this is the first time I've done something like this. (allthough I already know it's a bit sloppy..)
