Hello,

I'm a beginning solo guitar player and I'm facing a problem which I think more people have encountered. With the band I'm in we're playing U2's song One. The song begins slowly and at the end we're building to a climax. I'd like to play a solo at that point, but when I stop playing the chords there's a hole in the music. I was wondering if there are any people who can give me some tips on how to fill the gap. I assume there are more people who have this problem so if anyone can help me it would be great. Maybe a link to a video lesson would help me as well.

Kind regards,
Niels
