Steel Panther! On a serious note: Bon Jovi had awesome hard rock songs in the 80's. I agree. I really liked 'Warlock' back in the 80's. Not just because of Doro but they were a really good 80s rock band. Although I think my favourite 80's hard rock album is Alice Cooper's 'Constrictor'. I played that to death in '86 I will definitely do something in the style of Alice. I will pay more attention to Warlock's music. Thanks! Van Halen Great one! Up the Irons!!!! hahaha I have already done many Maiden style lessons! My first pick would be Dio! I don't think much has been covered with Dio at GMC. It would be cool to see a lesson devoted to them. Also Ratt- Out of the Cellar album has loads of great riffs and leads. They would fit well into the series. You're right. GMC needs more DIO. yes! please do an Alice Cooper lesson. 'i love the dead' btw. if they ever did a movie about Alice Cooper, who else would be as perfect as Steve Carell to play him? -------------------- My lessons

Of course Dio awesome Vivian Campbell style!! Or maybe Def Lepard or 80's Whitesnake? Whitesnake! They were great! I didn't realise this was a thread for suggestions!! Your original post just says:- "This thread is to invite everybody to share his favorite 80's hard rock bands..." See? EVERYBODY needs more Dio!!! Holy Diver was on my Turntable constantly through the 80's! It was one of the first albums I learned to play by ear (Rhythm only!!) hahaha it's that my mission here is to cover what GMCers like. If you say, "I like Justin Bieber", I consider it a request. -------------------- My lessons
