Picking Tecnhique
Hi guys, does anybody know how i can practise to execute this move, Jeff beck does it first, with his thumb and forefinger & so does Pete Townshend. Can it be done with a pick, or would i have to learn to get my pick out of the way so i can do it like they do it? Are there any videos on here which use it that i could learn from? Thanks |

Hi mate! If you want to get the same tone than Beck, you'll have to do it with your fingers as he does, but if you want to get a similar effect and be able to play that kind of fast licks and keep using your pick you can try Chicken / Hibrid picking.

Great, i'll check it out, i think learning this would give me another edge when it comes to soloing
