I am a beginner guitar player, been playing for about 2 years now. I like Metal, heavy metal my favorite bands are Metallica, Megadeth, AC/DC, Pantera although I am also an Eddie Van Halen fan. I play an ESP LTD EC1000 with an EMG81 and a Seymour Duncan Blackout. My wish list is the Cemetery Gates Dean.
Never thought it was possible for me to play but with my husband Michael who has been coaching me since day one, I can play some of my most favorite songs. Working on solos now.
I am also an Information Technology professional with many years of experience creating database solutions and listen to Computer Security podcasts, especially Security Now with Steve Gibson and Leo Laporte.

I've been in computers for many years, but the last 2 years I've been spending a great deal of time learning to play my ESP.
Metal is my preference, but I am still a beginner.
I used to play piano but only for a couple of years and learned to read music but not proficiently.
My husband Michael and I play together and fortunately we like the same songs so it helps to work together as some songs he plays the solo and I play rhythm. We're still learning though. I tell him as long as we continue to practice we can only get better. Love to be in this site to learn from the best!
