In fact I think I am going to switch back to V-picks for awhile again, now that you made me think about it. He vanished a year ago, but he certainly played quite nice I think, one of best here in my view in terms of artistry of his play. edit: On reflection and using my V-Pick again, pointed screamer or medium, I am not sure which it is...... I agree with everything I wrote before. The notes really stand out, and it gets easier once you get used to it. I also repeat, in my view they force you into better picking technique, they are less forgiving of flawed technique. But rewarding if you adapt to them. Its huge with 1 sharp point and 2 round ones, it costs alot i think for 1 pick but ive been using this same one for like a year so it's not really that expensive.. I haven't heard about V-picks until now actually, I definately have to try one out. I know there are these picks look almost deformed actually, there like a regular pick but when it comes to the end where the pick makes contact with the string it turns into a curved shape.
