Ok, it's not really metal...it's false metal. But hey, look at the tone...it's like a huge Didley bow...

So much gear, when in essence we only need a string, some wood and a pickup.

Actually that speaks ill of Emmure rather than metal. He couldn't do that and play The Odyssey by Symphony X for example tongue.gif

Haha, I like the concept and the fact that he just did it. smile.gif

I don't know why people are wasting all their YT comments arguing about how hard/simple certain music is to play. It misses the point !

It might go a bit off topic but I'm reminded by the late Mr Bruce Lee's quote.. 'It is like a finger pointing to the moon...'

I'm sure you guys get the message Bruce is saying but just to clarify, for me he's saying we shouldn't concern ourselves with the unimportant details.. the how's and the why's.. just do, be and observe.

It's like playing guitar. Even on here we can get a bit guilty of being concerned with the 'system' instead of the end result. Don't ask yourself 'what is the best technique/way/style for achieving...' just think about what you want to achieve and the process will happen by itself naturally smile.gif

That's not to say that we shouldn't seek help or analyse things now and again but treat them as a 'time out'. A waypoint on the journey. Do not allow yourself to be bogged down by process. Process is unimportant. The result is the goal.
