For the past year I have been promising that I'm in the middle of saving money to build an Audio pc so I can do rec takes and fully commit to mentoring programs etc
Well I'm happy to tell you, I'm ordering the parts this week, and I will be assaulting your ears and eyes very shortly. This is the first of my New year plans to be completed and will help other come to pass too. -------------------- My SoundCloud

I ordered everything this morning, I just hope the bad weather in the UK doesn't slow the delivery down too much.

I'll take pictures of the stages of the build.

Congratulations that looks awesome! I always bought PCs by choosing my own components and everything - but I never actually put it all together myself (had the store service do it). It must be very fun to do it!

It was pretty easy and worked first time. The massive Zalman cooler needed two people to install it, it was a little tricky and required some brute force.
I'm now installing Magix Independence Acoustic and Electric Basses. The download is huge around 14 Gb all together and is taking hours, even with fast Broadband.
