Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

This is a big improvement over your previous take. Much tighter and controlled.

Hey there mate!

As Ben said, there's a big improvement! Congratulations on playing everything even and controlled - you fixed the triplets section as well as the occasionally missing 16th notes in the last part - very good.

Now, you could play this take smoother, if you are to ask me and make it flow nicer from the picking hand, as now it sounds technically correct, but a bit rigid. This can be achieved by practicing the lesson for a longer period of time, after which the body starts to feel it as a natural thing to play.

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

Hi Anese! Congrats on this take! I'm with Cosmin about the next step on the work of this lesson. You have improved your timing a lot, so you have to continue practicing in order to give more "life" to your playing. Play the figures trying to feel the groove of the backing in order to make your playing sound more connected with the backing track. As Cosmin said, your picking is still rigid, try to make your hand flow smoother while you play, trying to get a more dynamic and groovy playing.

I think that you are now ready to start working on some other lessons based on this technique, as a complement to this one. These are some ideas:

Keep on the good job! smile.gif
