I usually don't break strings on my bass often because I change them regularly but I would say 3-4 times a year..

I think i broke 2 strings in my one year of guitar playing
when i was using the ibanez tremollo for the first time but now it never happens |

I normally don't brake any strings. When I started using DR strings on my fender, the first 3 sets got me a broken string, but now everything is perfectly fine again (I guess it was because I was changing my action, intonation etc so often and that's now settled ).

I almost never break one. I usually change them and they're still intact, old, but intact.
