Are you practicing to a metronome? If so make sure you start at a speed where you are very comfortable and playing very clean and accurate. Also, dont be disappointed if you dont see gains right away, it can take months / years to develop furious sweep picking speed. It is a difficult technique.

keep practicing slow and make it sound clean... practice with a metronome accenting the notes on the beep and when you are doing it clean at a certain bps, raise the bps and do it again, keep doing this and before you know it you will be playing it at the speed you want to..
takes alot of time and practice, but its a challenge thats worth it

Practice to a metronome and gradually up the speed when you get it smooth at each tempo. You'll soon notice an improvement smile.gif

Practicing everything with metronome and making sure you play very precise at all tempos is the key for speed.
