Hey! Me and my band are going to play a gig. One of the songs we are gonna play is Paranoid by black sabbath and I want a more flasy solo, but im not the best at improvising and stuff, so i dosent sound quite right when i try to play. I want to use the first half solo, and then write somthing new over it.
I espesialy want some sort of Easy/cool sounding tapping. All people who dont know guitar are amazed by tapping
Could you help me make some cool licks? Dosent need to be tapping, trills, legato and picking, pinch harmonics! all kinds of awsome solo stuff but not to hard please!

Got some idea for some kind of flashy solo. Used some things already mentioned in this thread, but here you go!

check out Randy Rhoads solo on the live version of Paranoid, found on the Tribute album...awesome!!

Yeah mayby it's a little hard, but you could play the same lick in triplets, or 16th notes. Triplets would make the lick twice as long, but with 16th notes you need to take out the 19-17 taps, so the lick becomes :
