Wow, that's a really hard question!! Probably have about 50 top bands/musical influences.

Well five bands I really love are: Hell is for heroes, My Bloody Valentine, Sky Eats Airplane, Brand New and Funeral For A friend.

Ok that's five *wants to write loads more* tongue.gif haha.

What about you?

Well, the first thing that we must do to incorporate your favorite music concepts into your music is to analyze each of this songs. We have to analyze the structure, the chord progressions and their way of arranging. Are you able to learn tunes by ear?

Ok sounds good smile.gif I really struggle with learning songs by ear, at best I can figure out a part of an easy tune, but often its in the wrong key.
So no not really... Can we start with something really easy? Like "Three of clubs" by HIFH? Would really like to know what scales they use in this how the song is structured and how the two guitars work together smile.gif

What's the first lesson?

Thanks.

Well the first thing that you have to write here is the structure of the song... (intro, verse, pre chorus, chorus, bridge, etc...).

Just listening to the song and trying to identify each part... and write it down here. Can you identify the sections of a song?
