You will feel some difference for sure, but not that much,
one semi tone isn't big deal except it's easier to do bends, vibrato etc. Whole tone is something else. -------------------- Youtube

After a while, you wont feel much of a difference
I normally keep one guitar tuned normal with a 0.09 set of strings, and one tuned to a D or D flat with some heavier strings.. I prefer the light strings, but they sound all floppy when downtuning -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio
Amp: Marshall JMP-1 -> Rocktron Velocity 100 -> Marshall JCM-900 Lead 4x12 FX and stomps: T.C Electronics G-Sharp, Korg SDD-1200, Emma Transmorgrifier, BYOC Tribooster, GGG Green Ringer, Dinosaur Overdrive, Voodoo Lab SuperFuzz, Sovtek Bassballs, Line6 Tap Tremolo, EHX Screaming Bird. ___________________________________________________ My Lessons! I am using that tuning since almost 20 years, the only thing you should pay attention to is your strings, don't use too thin strings when you downtune your guitar, otherwise they will get way too sloppy.

For me it is just very difficult to play with such thin strings, I pick rather hard, specially when we play live, so I would constantly be out of tune I guess My strings are 010 - 052, perfect for me
