Folks in the media seem to have forgotten that President Clinton was IMPEACHED. Impeachment doesn't mean that the President has to leave office. Nixon, in contrast, left on his own. Clinton got impeached and kept going to finish out his term. So to bring things forward, even if our current president gets impeached, so what? It won't remove him from office. Folks seem to think impeachment means "your fired", it doesn't mean that, sadly. No president has EVER been removed through IMPEACHMENT. EVER!!!!!
In order for a President to be removed through impeachment, congress has to hold a hearing and then in the sentate, get a majority to agree the president should be removed. No president has ever been removed this way. A President can be impeached and still complete his term, just like Clinton did.

Here is an explanation of what impeachment is and isn't.

were screwed , did you know in Frank Dodd there was a underlying bank bail out that basically bypasses the tax payer knowing they are getting bailed out , They have received 135 billion in the last few months
and the senate needs a super majority to remove

it's so obvious so many politcians on both sides have sold us down the river all we can do is wait for the explosion

Folks seem to think that impeachment means automatic ejection from public office. I hear the newsies talk about it non stop. Even when impeachment happens, the senate will still have to hold a hearing and agree to oust a given president. This has NEVER happened in the history of our Republic. Given the makeup of our Senate it seems unlikely to happen now. Poll number indicate a victory for Trump in 2020. So even if impeachment goes through, we could have an impeached second term President smile.gif

Closing this one it's very likely to take us into political discussions. Which sure is needed but not really suitable here as it tends to mess up the atmosphere and good vibes.
